Class 3

Class 3 have been working hard in PE learning about football. We thoroughly enjoyed playing our final match today-the score ending in 2-2.

Class 3 had an amazing day at The Beacon in Whitehaven. We enjoyed finding out more about the Prehistoric areas and had fun exploring the rest of the museum. CLASS 3 LOVE A TRIP!

We enjoyed visitors from Annan today. In preparation for the Bowness bells on the 7th May

This half term our topic is Prehistory-have a look in the curriculum letter what is coming up, we have a lot to look forward to.

This week is the final week of our rainforest topic and we have really learnt a lot. Today we completed our rainforest creatures that included a motor to spin part of it around.

Class 3 and the rest of the school had a lovely day with Richard-The Bug Man-meeting large African snails, cockroaches, a scorpian, a bearded dragon, a tortoise and a few more amazing creatures. A great way to see some of the rainforest life up close.

Class 3's new topic is Rainforests-we have got lots of exciting things to look forward to!

Class 3 have really enjoyed celbrating Chinese New Year this morning, We made Chinese lanterns, and Chinese dragon cards. We also enjoyed a lovely Chinese lunch-yummy!

Welcome back Class 3-Our new topic this half term is the Romans, We have lots to look forward to including a trip to Tullie House.

We have a busy half term ahead, but class 3 always work extremely hard :)

Class 3 had a lovely afternoon visiting Gilly's bench on the Bowness banks.

Today to celebrate Bonfire night, Class 3 wrote Bonfire themed poems and went into the school Forest to share them. Of course a hot chocolate and Marshmallows were needed!

This half term Class 3's topic is-transport and journeys-here is a copy of their homework letter.

Class 3 really enjoyed dressing up for Halloween-We completed various activities-purple mash computer program for Halloween, Halloween crafts, Halloween puzzles, building a haunted house, and visiting Class 3's Bat Cave.

Today Class 3 went to Carlisle Library and on a train to Wigton. We had a fantastic day, listening to stories, exploring the library, choosing our own books to take home and having a ride on a train!

Class 3 Trip

On Thursday 8th October we will be visiting Carlisle Library as part of our "Famous Authors" topic.  We will travel there by bus and then get the train from Carlisle to Wigton and then we will get the bus back to school.  Permission slips need to be completed and returned to school by Monday 28th September.
