Helping your child at home

Helping your child at home can seem like a daunting task and I hope we can help you here.  The teachers will continue to put links and ideas on their class pages which are very useful and I hope you will continue to refer to them.  The expectations for each year group are on the Curriculum Page here.

A good all round site with free e-books and maths help is the Oxford Owls site.

Phonics and spelling

Phonics are important building blocks in learning to read and write.  There are many games and fun activities out there!  If you are not sure which 'phase' or level your child is working on please ask their teacher by popping a note in the blue book.
