Week 7 22/02/2021
Welcome back! Hope you had a lovely Half Term. I can't wait to hear what you got up to.
There are lots of bits and pieces to have a look at this week. Check which of them are for you.
You will need to print off the relevant map before our Geography Zoom session on Tuesday. If you can't print it off copy a rough world map onto a piece of paper or into your book.
Week 6 8/2/21
Nearly there! This is the last week's work before your week off for half term!
Week 5 - 1/02/2021 - First day of February - seen any snowdrops yet?
Hope you have fun with this week's activities. If you've got any problems, let me know by email, or you can ask me on Zoom on Tuesday.
Week 3 18/01/21
It looks like there's a lot this week, but most of it you can pick and choose if you want to use it or not.
Have fun this week and don't forget that I'd like you to send me some of your work to see how you're getting on.
As always if there are any problems or questions, or you just want to get in touch, don't hesitate to contact me.
Hello again Class 3, here we are back for some lovely online learning. I can't wait to try out some Zoom sessions with you all later in the week at 1 pm on Tuesday and 1pm on Friday - i'll send you a link via email!
For now have a look at the activities below to get you started on our new Romans topic.
Well that's week one done!
I loved seeing you all this week. I'm really proud of how well you've all got back into the swing of home schooling (all your helpers too!).
While we're not at school I will be adding work to this page for everyone in Class 3 to have a go at. We are following the exciting topic of Space Adventure so all the activities will link to this. After Half Term we will move onto an Explorers topic.
There will be a super-stellar space certificate and stickers for all adventurers who complete out of this world work!
I will add new activities on a weekly basis for Art, Geography, History and DT. These should be completed sometime during the week as there will be new activities posted the following week.
For this week there are starting points for each activity in your book. Have a look at the sheet below to see what you need to do to complete each task.
There are some differences for each year group so make sure you check the tasks carefully and have fun!
Make sure you leave plenty time for other fun such as building amazing Lego models, drawing the first flowers in your garden or baking up a storm in the kitchen!
Since it's the last week before the summer, this week's activities are based around summer. I hope you enjoy doing them as much as I've enjoyed setting them!
Well we're nearly there!!
Can you believe we only have 2 more weeks until the summer holidays?
You and everyone who's helped you have done a fantastic job. Give yourselves a pat on the back.
Your activities are here for this week. I hope there's something you enjoy to keep you busy in there.
I hope everyone is finding the sunshine.
There's a fun DT activity to have a go at this week. Don't worry, you don't have to bake them - unless you want to!
You're all doing such a brilliant job. Keep trying, keep working hard and keep smiling.
This week seems to have been a long one in our house, what do you think?
Were carrying on the explorers topic. I'm sure you've made some amazing lunchboxes. Later on we should think of something to go in it.
By the way look out for a little something coming your way this week!
Hope you're all hanging on in there.
Another week of exploring ahead of us. I hope you managed to collect some boxes and other bits and pieces for your DT this week. It should be fun. I'd love to see some photos of your work when you get around to it. Now my gardens had a good watering I'm hoping for some more sunny weather - aren''t you?
Hello Class 3
That's the end of our first week of exploring! I hope you enjoyed it. We'll be carrying on our explorations over the next few weeks. It would be useful if you could make a small collection of things like boxes, cartons, cardboard tubes and yoghurt pots over for after this week, for our next DT project.
Hello by the sea!
Happy Half Term!
Well that's the end of the Space adventure-I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for all your hard work over the last few weeks, I'm missing you all and can't wait to see you sometime and hear about your adventures; space ones or otherwise.
I won't set you any work this week. I'm sure you can keep yourselves occupied, especially if we get some sunny weather.
We can start the next adventure together after Half Term. We're going to be Explorers!
Have a lovely week and take some photos to stick into your book so I can see what you've been up to.
Good Morning everyone!
Hope you're all doing OK. So this is the last week of our space adventure topic - its half term next week! We'll be starting a brand new topic after that. I can't wait to see all your hard work and creativity when I see you all again.
Keep doing what you're doing - you're the only one like you and that's amazing
Hello over there!
Hope you're all doing OK.
Here we are at the beginning of another week - where are they all going?
Back to our space topic this week. There are a few different bits for different year groups this week, so just check which bits you need to do. There's a link to one of my favourite songs for geography - can you guess which one? You will need a nice sunny day for your DT work this week. I've got my fingers crossed for you.
Don't forget to have fun every day.
It was lovely to see some of you doing the scavenger hunt - wow you're quick! What should we do next time?
Can you believe it's May already? Well the sunshine keeps shining! My garden was glad of the bits of rain we've had this week though. The birds have been enjoying themselves around our house. Every time I go into the garden or out for a walk I hear some beautiful songs.
Now because it's a very special week this week - coming up to the 75th anniversary of VE Day - the activities I've set for you are a bit different this week. I've given you a range of ideas for activities, but I don't want you to complete them all. Just do the ones you like the look of , or think of your own brilliant ideas to have a go at. There are a few activities to print off. But don't worry if you can't, you can always copy the page into your book or onto paper.
Keep doing what you're doing - remember you're fabulous!
Hi Class 3
I hope you've all managed to enjoy the lovely sunshine earlier in the week. We've had the hammock out in our garden!
Now it's the Easter holidays (Hurray!) so I won't be setting any curriculum tasks for a couple of weeks. I'll try to add some ideas in the just for fun section - make sure you keep checking - you never know what ideas will pop up next!
I'm also working on a special Easter art challenge for the whole school...you heard it here first!
Stay smiley and stay amazing.
Hope you're all having a lovely relaxing weekend.
I've just got back from my daily walk. Next time I'll have to take some photos and show you some of the things I see along the way.
I've planned some more activities for you to have a go at. I hope you're enjoying them as much as I've enjoying thinking them up. If you come across a problem or something doesn't quite make sense, you can always send me a message via Miss Edwards or Miss Davies. I'd love to hear what you've been getting up to.
Hi Class 3
I hope you've all been busy enjoying a well earned break for Easter. I can't wait to hear all about the fun and activities you've been up to when I see you next. I've added a page to let you know what I'm getting up to as we go along - just in case I forget(!) and one with some ideas to try if you ever feel a bit frazzled - I know I do sometimes!
I've also added next weeks activities down below for you to have a go at sometime this week.
Make sure you find something to smile about every day.
