Autumn Term 1 2020-Bowness school did a whole school poetry competition-we looked at the theme OUR LOCAL AREA and created individual poems on what this meant to us. Reception right up to Year 6 took part.
This half term Class 1 have been working with Cricket Chris on their catching, throwing and cricket skills. Today was their final session, they showed off all the skills that they have learnt.
Spring Term 2020 Class 3-Hockey. We have really enjoyed learning hockey skills and playing mini team games
On Wednesday 12th February, Class 3 and 4 were given the opportunity to do some resilience work with Carllisle United, we spent the morning looking around the grounds and playing some team activities. Thank you Carlisle United, we had a really good time.
For Spring Term 1, Class 3 have been channelling our inner Rugby Union. We have loved playing tag rugby.
This half term, Class 3 have been focusing on gymnastics. We created sequences in pairs and small groups and used the gymnastic equipment safely.
As part of Geography week, in PE we explored orienteering.
