Jigsaw: for 8 -10 year olds
This is a film from CEOPs Thinkuknow education programme that helps children to understand what constitutes personal information. It enables children to understand that they need to be just as protective of their personal information online, as they are in the real world.
In school, we teach e-safety through Kidsafe and in other designated lessons, but every time we use the internet we remind the children of the precautions to take as we are constantly amazed by how the internet is woven in to the lives of our children from laptops to PS4s.
As Thinkuknow say "For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much. You might be struggling to keep up with the things your child is doing online, you might wonder whether what they are doing is safe, and you might also be thinking how can I be as good a parent online as I am offline?"
